What is Social Media Fest Ireland?
Social Media Fest hosted by the one and only Samantha Kelly, formerly known as The Tweeting Goddess, is a gathering of individuals and professionals interested in how social media, digital presence, and online tools can be used effectively to build business, influence, connection, and impact. It’s a place where trends, tools, strategies, success stories, and creative experiments are shared, debated, and explored. The social media fest is the place to learn how to be digital savvy in the digital world.
The media fest is a day filled with guest and expert speakers, tools, insights, lunch and coffee, energy and an amazing atmosphere all day long. It is also a social and networking event that won’t disappoint!
This November 2025 will be my fourth social media fest with Samantha Kelly, every year I take home new and useful information and knowledge.
The “Stand Out Strategy” at Social Media Fest with Orlagh Reid
If you work in psychotherapy, health or well-being, psychology or allied fields and you’re ready to raise your profile, Social Media Fest Ireland has a talk you won’t want to miss. Orlagh Reid — psychotherapist, coach, group facilitator, and private practice owner — will be leading a session titled “The Stand Out Strategy – Standing Out with Confidence, Creativity, and Technology in Health.”
Here’s why this talk might be just the spark your practice needs — and what you can expect to take away.
The Stand Out Strategy — What Orlagh Will Cover
Orlagh’s talk is specially tailored for psychotherapists, psychologists, health professionals, and others in private or group practice who want to stand out. Here’s what she’ll be digging into:
- Daring to be different
Encouraging you to move beyond “safe” or “typical” and lean into what makes your personality, approach or passion uniquely yours. - Learning to be tech and digitally savvy
Understanding and using digital tools, platforms, social media, websites, possibly video, or other tech-enabled ways to promote presence, deliver content, reach clients or peers. - Showcasing your expertise in the media
How to get your knowledge out there — via articles, interviews, podcasts, social media content — so you are seen as a credible voice in your field. - Confidently standing out on and offline
Developing confidence so that whether you are speaking, networking, posting online, or meeting clients face-to-face, you are showing up in a way that is authentic and authoritative. - Letting yourself be creative and authentic
Creativity as a strength: using original content, voice, stories, visuals, etc., rather than copying what everyone else is doing. - Finding your niche and perfect client
Clarifying who you serve, what makes your ideal client, and how that shapes what you offer and how you communicate — so you don’t end up appealing to everyone and losing focus.
Why You Should Attend
If you’re a health or well-being practitioner, therapist or psychologist who:
- Feels you’re lost in the noise and want to be distinctive
- Wants to bridge the gap between being clinically sound and being visible
- Is cautious about using tech or digital platforms, but knows there is potential there
- Wishes to build authority, create content, show up more fully
- Is ready to invest in growing their client base with clarity
… then Orlagh’s talk provides both mindset shifts and practical strategy with the practices that worked for her online practice and presence.
In a crowded market of health and wellness, being good at what you do is only part of the equation. How you show up, share, and communicate what makes your work different — that’s what helps people connect with you. If you’ve ever hesitated to share more of what you think, or felt unsure about going digital, or struggled to define who your perfect client is — Orlagh Reid’s “Stand Out Strategy” is built for you.
